Terms of Service

Stealmas runs a live, online White Elephant gift swap for teams: a lobby before the party, a live game where players open and steal gifts, and a recap afterward. We may improve, change or retire features over time. We will not remove something a host has already paid for during their party.

• You must be 18 or older and sign in with an account that belongs to you.
• Keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• A host may limit a party to their company email domain. Please do not try to get around that limit.

• The host sets the budget, the date and who is invited, and is responsible for sharing the invite only with the people who should play.
• The host controls the game: starting it, adding time to the clock, and ending it.
• If your company pays for gifts, the host is responsible for following the company's own spending and gift policies.

• Stealmas does not sell, stock or ship products. Gifts are bought from third-party stores such as Amazon, by players or their company, under that store's own terms, prices, returns and warranties.
• Product titles, pictures and prices come from the store and may change. We do our best to show them accurately but cannot guarantee them.
• The budget is an honor system. Keep gifts within it and appropriate for work.
• When the game ends, whoever holds a gift keeps it. Results are final once the host ends the game, except where we have to correct a technical error.

This is a work party. Do not use Stealmas to:

• share gifts, notes, GIFs or messages that are offensive, harassing, discriminatory, sexual, or that would break your workplace's conduct rules;
• share anyone's private information without their permission;
• cheat, interfere with the game, probe or attack our systems, or use bots or scripts to play;
• break the law or anyone else's rights.

Hosts and Stealmas may remove content or players that break these rules, and we may suspend accounts that abuse the service.

You keep ownership of the notes, wrapping choices and other content you add. You give Stealmas permission to store and show that content to the players in your party, and in your party's recap, so the game can work. We do not use it for anything else without asking.

• Paid plans are priced per party as shown on our pricing page and are paid by card through Stripe, or by invoice for larger parties.
• If you cancel before your game starts, we will refund you in full. After the game starts, payments are non-refundable unless the game could not run because of a problem on our side, in which case we will make it right.
• Prices do not include gifts, shipping or taxes unless we say so.

Stealmas, the logo and the game design belong to us. These terms do not give you rights to use them other than to play.

We work hard to keep the game running smoothly, but Stealmas is provided as is and as available. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free, and we are not responsible for products, stores, shipping carriers or other services we link to.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Stealmas is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the party involved, or $100 if you did not pay.

You can stop using Stealmas and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as payments, disclaimers and limits on liability, still apply afterward.

If we change these terms in a material way, we will update the date above and tell active hosts before the change takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA.
